Internship Profile: Product Innovation Engineer (CFD Engineer)

Duration:

  1. Long Term Internship  (Option 1): 2 months (Online) (1 March 2026 to 24 April 2026)
  2. Short Term Internship  (Option 2): 1 month (Online) (1 March 2026 to 26 March 2026)

​Eligibility: B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech/Ph.D (pursuing/completed – all branches, mainly Mechanical, Automobile and Aeronautics Engineering)

  • Operating System: Windows 10
  • Software: ANSYS Student Version (already installed)
  • Internet Connection for file download and upload

Application Process

Registration Form 1A

Begin by filling out Registration Form 1A and uploading your resume.
There is no fee for this form.

This form is common for all internship durations and all project categories (short-term or long-term).

Resumes are typically shortlisted within 1–2 working days.
Selection is based on your academic performance and the extracurricular activities listed in your resume.

If you are shortlisted, you will receive a partial confirmation email along with a link to Registration Form 2B.

Registration Form 2B

Registration Form 2B includes a link for Identity Verification and Registration Fee Payment.

The registration fee is ₹3000 + taxes, and must be paid within 5 working days from the receipt of the partial confirmation email.

Submitting Form 2B completes your final enrollment into the internship.

You may choose to enroll in more than one industrial project.
If you have already received Form 2B and wish to join another project, simply fill out Form 2B again and select the additional project.

The registration fee helps us sustain and operate this collaborative space.

The internship itself is completely free — the Form 2B registration fee is the only associated cost.

After Completing Registration Form 2B

Once your final registration is confirmed:

  • You will receive access to a cloud folder containing all relevant internship data.
  • You will also receive an industrial analysis CAD model along with installation and setup manuals.

Internship Work Description

As an intern, you will receive a complete industrial CAD model and detailed setup instructions.

Your daily responsibilities include:

  • Testing the simulation cases
  • Collaborating with the team to analyze the results
  • Maintaining all work, submissions, and attendance through Google Workspace

Technical support is available through phone or email between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the working time flexible?

Yes. You can choose to work during either morning or evening hours. The daily work duration is fixed at 1–2 hours, but the timing is up to you. Since our operations run 24/7 across multiple time zones, you have complete freedom to select and adjust your working hours based on your schedule.

I don’t know ANSYS. Can I still apply?

Absolutely! Prior knowledge of ANSYS is not required.
Our dedicated research and technical team will guide you throughout the internship. We focus on strengthening your fundamentals, helping you learn ANSYS, and developing your research and development skills. As long as you have a solid academic foundation, we will help you build the rest during the internship.

What is the difference between the Short-Term and Long-Term Internship?

We offer two internship durations:

  • Short-Term Internship: 1 month — fast-paced and focused
  • Long-Term Internship: 2 months — more detailed, with deeper project involvement

Both options provide valuable practical experience. You can choose the duration based on your time availability and learning goals.

Can I work on weekends instead of weekdays?

If you are a working professional with weekday commitments, you may request to shift your tasks to weekends. Speak with your team leader to discuss your situation. In many cases, task rescheduling is possible depending on project requirements and workload.

Can I take leave during the internship?

Yes. If you need leave due to professional commitments, discuss it with your team leader. They may allow you to rearrange your tasks for completion on Saturdays or Sundays. Clear communication ensures your work stays on track while accommodating your leave needs.

Can I take leave for exams?

Yes. You may apply for up to 10 days of academic leave for exams or academic work.
Please note:

  • The internship duration will not be extended.
  • Any pending work must be completed within the original internship timeline.

Effective planning is important to ensure all tasks are finished on schedule.

Can I join if I haven’t completed my B.E./B.Tech yet?

Definitely! Students currently pursuing their B.E./B.Tech. degree are welcome to apply.
This internship gives you:

  • A chance to apply academic concepts in real-world simulations
